Shiatsu
Shiatsu means "finger pressure" in Japanese and is based on traditional Chinese philosophy and health education. This assumes that the body of life energy Qi flows, the flows in the meridians. Complaints and diseases arise when the energy flow is disrupted causing imbalance.
The goal of Shiatsu treatment is to help blocked energy flow again and harmonize the balance of the body. It facilitates the body`s own natural healing process. The Shiatsu therapist uses fingers, hands, elbows, knees, and feet
with varying degrees of pressure, to balance and integrate the energies bringing about a sense of harmony and a feeling of well being.
Application method:
- Diseases of the locomotor
- Interfering, nervous complaints (insomnia, restlessness, twitching)
- Vegetative disturbances (abdominal area, stomach)
- Joint problems (rheumatoid, inflammatory processes, stiffness)
- Persistent fatigue, lassitude, fatigue, lack of energy
